Federal Avenue

Federal House is a stunning renovation of a 1910 Seattle Colonial Revival, skillfully combining historic charm with contemporary updates. For this second collaboration with the client, RRA’s owner and architect Ryan Rhodes and designer Andy Beers added a new third story and expanded the home’s footprint to create a modern family retreat. The interior balances traditional elegance with playful modern touches, such as a Tiffany blue living room and a bold pink dining room ceiling. Each space is carefully curated, blending original details with striking modern design elements, resulting in a home that feels both timeless and fresh.
