Seattle Highlands Residence

This residence is is a complete remodel of a 1905 “homestead” house, passed down through generations. For this second project with the client, we repurposed the original timbers and siding, incorporating exposed beams in the kitchen and a large kitchen island, preserving the home’s historic character while meeting modern needs. The spacious kitchen serves as the heart of the home, seamlessly blending the warmth of tradition with the functionality required for contemporary family living. The result is a perfect blend of history and modernity in the Seattle Highlands.
