Strugus Residence

Sturgus Residence, designed for a uniquely narrow lot in Seattle, challenges conventional design with its 10-foot width and 1,600 square feet of living space. Nicknamed the “Skinny House” by locals, the home cleverly uses a split-level plan and a central switchback staircase to maximize vertical space and create efficient circulation. Despite its compact footprint, high-end finishes, stainless steel appliances, and sweeping views make it feel more expansive than expected. The design offers an urban oasis, blending modern style with functional innovation on a long, narrow parcel.
