Tangletown Residence reimagines the classic farmhouse with a contemporary twist, designed around a central “hearth” that unifies all floors. Built across two lots, the home embraces both privacy and connection, with carefully placed windows framing curated views of the surrounding Tangletown neighborhood. Clad in fields of clear cedar, the exterior allows for flexibility in window placement without rigid alignment constraints. A dedicated kids’ wing was crafted with the owners’ vision of the perfect Christmas morning in mind, fostering warmth and togetherness. Hidden doors lead to a playful retreat featuring a custom shuffleboard table, built-in trundle beds, and a sheltered balcony with views of Green Lake—ensuring magic and discovery at every turn.
